Amy L. Braddock, MD, FACS is board-certified in general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Braddock's clinical interests include minimally invasive, endocrine, and gastrointestinal (GI) surgery, as well as other general surgery. She performs daVinci robotic-assisted surgery for hernia, gallbladder and colon. Dr. Braddock is the Program Director for St. Joseph Mercy Oakland's General Surgery training program.

Dr. Braddock has the patience, kindness and gentleness soul to make whatever of your situation is they brought you into her office feel like it’s going to be OK. She gave her upmost to her patients to comfort them and to guide them through the health issues that they are there to see her fall and in today’s world, it is not often that you can find a medical professional that would give you that I am grateful to have known her. I am grateful to know her, and I am grateful to yet still be her patient.

Dr. Amy is the type of surgeon that knows how to talk to you normally explain things thoroughly and when you walk out of that room, you feel like you just made a friend. Dr. Amy is very good at what she does being a surgeon. She explains everything to you. She does not beat around the bush like most doctors she tells it like it is and she cares about her patients. she respects you as an individual and she listens to everything that you’re saying to her. I’m grateful that she was there for me when I needed a surgeon. to find out what was going on with me. She is the one that listen and saved my life. Im very grateful. Plus her surgical team was excellent. They showed the same care as Amy and the caring and the love as Dr. Amy has.. I’m very fortunate that God gave Amy and her team the grace and power to save my life. Dr. Amy is a top surgeon. Thank you for letting me explain my thoughts and feelings
